The Bellevue Economic Partnership (BEP) recognizes that the growth
of online services, including Internet services, has created additional
privacy concerns.
Online privacy concerns focus on the protection of "user identifiable"
information which an individual or business reasonably expects to
be kept private. As the term suggests, "user identifiable"
information is information which can be associated with a specific
individual or entity, including, for example, a user's name, address,
or telephone number, e-mail address, and information about online
activities that are directly linked to them.
BEP has put in place the following protections for user identifiable
information:
Disclosure: Unless specifically requested by a user, BEP will not
disclose to third parties any user identifiable information derived
from the use of this site or associated services except as required
by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process or in the case
of imminent physical harm to the user or others. When BEP uses other
agents, contractors or companies to perform services on its behalf,
BEP asks that that company protects user identifiable information
consistent with this Policy.
Cookies and Collection of Usage Data: BEP servers do not gather information
about which third party sites users visit on the Internet and will
not place cookies on user's computer or other access device. BEP will
gather aggregate information as to use of pages within this site.
Security: BEP has implemented guidelines to safeguard the privacy
of your user identifiable information from unauthorized access or
improper use, and we will continue to enhance our security procedures
as new technology becomes available.
Improper Conduct: BEP may use user identifiable information to investigate
and help prevent potentially unlawful activity.
